Somehow this strip just reminded me, wasn’t sure why, but my brain has remembered this:

“We stuck nor breath nor motion
As idle as a painted ship upon a painted ocean
Water, water everywhere and
All the boards did shrink
Water, water everywhere nor any drop to drink.”

It’s not quite right, of course, since Aric’s boat is clearly mobile, but somewhere in the depths of my brain it fitted.

This is beginning to remind me of a drawing game my Dad used to play with me before bedtime when I was a wee lad, and that is a good thing. :)

The latest large, and seemingly persistent, developments have also made me wonder where things will go when more of the world will be established. Good stuff.

While I’m always pleasantly surprised by the unexpected turns in this strip, I’m especially delighted by the guy who created puppet theater from his own shirt being able to create a sail-worthy craft. It’s an awesome little feat and, of course, unexpected, but better than that: inspired. The bug boat rocks.

I’m finding some winter box elder bugs and make one of my own.
