I was closer in my idea so far than I really shoulda been. Now I worry what role the (presumably neutral, by their wish not to be solid) unsettlers will play in this brewing conflict.
Are there enough penguins to have a real conflict? We don’t know yet, do we… Hmm.
The penguins certainly have something of a mission statement here, and we know of at least two Bugs in the world.
I suppose it depends on whether there’s an even enough match of penguins vs. Bugs to create a real enmity, and whether these penguins can get their damn act together to launch a meaningful strike. If somebody can’t touch you but can say mean things, is he your enemy?
actually this is lemmo, Ray, you are supposed to be worrying about Aric. And besides I feel there may be hope yet, don’t forget about Aric’s robotic hair-do
Of course, from what we’ve seen the bugs don’t have much more success than the penguins (getting cut in half by shovel beam, crashing into mountain, that other bug knocking down Fergus’ lighthouse…) Though, to be fair, those collisions seemed more to be consequences of apathy rather than altogether lack of ability.
Also, it seems like the main ammunition of both races would be insults. In which case the bugs have already won. :-P

Crazy penguins. And we’ve still yet to see from Lemmo, I fear for him, thinking that he may be/is dead.
